People on ebay often wait till the last seconds to bid . I've found that if I start bidding too early & others want the item, all will keep trying to outbid each other until the item is priced beyond its worth. The 64 came with a factory installed hood silencer. The metal clips go in the small holes you see on the underside of the hood. I believe the same clips were used from 61-66 & possibly on other Mopars. You should be able to come up with some metal originals if you shop around. A plastic version is also available from Gary Goers, as well as the hood silencer itself.
