Hi Ross and gang I too attended Atlantic city on Saturday and saw the same Imperials, I have an interesting story about the 68 conv. One of my friends that I eas eith moved that car about 10 years ago for the CEO of Johnson and Johnson. He said he thought the car looked familar and when we spoke to the seller, we found it was the same car. My friend said that when he moved it years ago, it was in almost the same shape as it is now. He had to put moving pads down on the floor when he rolled it out of the garage where it was to get it into the truck. When we spoke to the present owner, he claimed that he bought it when the CEO passed away and then spent $35,000.00 going over the car to get it to the condition that it is now in. If I remember correctly, he said that he paid $8000.00 for the car about 4 years ago. I sure wish I was there then because it was probably beautiful then because it looked almost perfect now. You could probably pick it apart if you really searched bit it would be silly to do so. I sure wish I knew what the final bidding on the car was. If anyone knows, please let me know at BANDMGRINDING@xxxxxxxxx Thanks Allan R
