Hi guys, thanks Everyone for all the info on the purple leather interior! Mark and Lillian please look up the address for the hides and dyesas I am pursuing all avenues (even talking to my dad who had used my Grandfathers Singer once upon more than a few moons ago as to what is wrong with it!). It is not an Imperial but the GTO convert I have did not have a back seat when I got it. I had a buddy with a frame for his convert and he loaned it to me for a pattern and was able to shorten a regular hardtop seat to work perfectly! If some one can furnish you with pictures and measurements I can not see why a coupe seat couldn't be made to work(I don't think a 4 door is close enough[at least on other cars, I must qualify this with my newness to Imps!]). Remember these cars were made to be mass produced and it costs money to make too many changes! Thanks again Guys-n-Dolls Thad ----- Original Message ----- From: "Henry Hopkins" <hhrp@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, February 21, 2002 7:44 PM Subject: Re: IML: rear seats coupe to convertible > The seat back on convertibles is different from those on two door > hardtops.
