Shortened 65 Imperial's son

A similar, er, horror story appeared on ebay during October of 2000.
That car started life as a 70 LeBaron 4DHT. The ad stated that the car,
a "Luxury Sport Tourer" had been shortened 24". In an open-door shot
you could see the rear door hinges remained on the B-pillar.
The car had dual exhaust, air shocks, oversize Michelins (255/70-15), a
"calibrated" speedometer, and some other incomprehensible features (like
semi-automatic power). It had been "appraised and insured for
$15000." Whatever. It looked just plain nasty.
Oh yeah, I forgot about the Lincoln Town Car opera windows and the
center high-mounted stop light. And the HUGE conversion-van type front
console... Yikes.

If you get the WPC news, make certain to check out the
1965 Imp for sale that has been shortened to delete
the back seat just like a Buick Reatta.

It looks pretty odd.
