I must echo Chris' opinion on the KYB shocks. I installed a full set of them on our '62 Crown in August of last year, and I couldn't be more pleased with the ride and handling.
Now our '62 with it's "tire test vehicle" status (being it has 4 different brand tires on it) does sing like a choir when you hit a curve signed for 45 @ 80 indicated, but the KYBs have noticeable less body roll or "lean" in the turn.
BTW - the '62 Imperial - at least with my funky tire "condition" - does have a very predictable 4-wheel drift with no surprises (unless you mistakenly hit the brakes when you hear the choir) =8^)
Be safe out there (as I look into the mirror!)
Imperial regards to everyone,

KYB makes a superb shock - far superior to anything
else on the market. KG 4507's in the front. KG5511 in
the rear.
The lower mounts on the front shocks neet to be
trimmed slightly, which is why they are not cataloged.
But they give outstanding ride and performance once
installed.
