Welcome to the list. I am sure that someone out there knows where you could
find a windshield for your car, perhaps in a scrap yard.
As for your transmission I would check the fluid level and the filter first
before looking for a rebuild. An automatic transmission is hydraulically
operated and as such will not funtion properly if there is not enough fluid
circulating through the plumbing inside. You may find that it will work
again after changing the filter, the pan gasket, and of course the fluid. If
this doesn't work there are a few people on this list that could tell you
what has gone haywire in it by going through the symptoms.
