The answer to your question is yes. A 440 will do the 413. They are the same block, the only real difference is the bore. The rest of it is pretty much the same. As for the brakes, if you're unsure, remove the brake pads, clean off the dust from around the caliper and have a good look. Also check the condition of the rotor looking for any fractures and uneven wear. Better now to get used to the Imp's braking system also its for your own peace of mind to know you've checked it - been there, done that!
