Hello all, A while back I reported on a fuselage Imp I noticed sitting outside a garage. Today I stopped to take a look. It is what appears to be a FULLY LOADED LeBaron, 4 door HT, AutoTemp II, power vent windows, you name it. Its turquoise. I spoke with the counterperson who gave me the owner's name and number... The car has been hit in the front...it appear that the car was driven into a round steel pole about 3 feet in diameter at about 20-25 mph. Thusly, the front end is a mess, but the engine is still OK. However, the owner intends to pull the 440 and junk the rest of the car. Everything from the windshield of the car back is nice- black leather interior with split power leather seats, all seats are nice, no cracks or rips, all interior is good, carpet, etc...all sheetmetal from the front doors back is great- just some minor bubling on the trunklid...1/4's are immaculate and the underbody is like new. I think the frame is still straight, too, as the injury is just to the middle 2/3 of the car's front. If someone had replacement front sheetmetal and a serviceable 440, this car would come back to life! Otherwise, its at least good for parts to _someone_ I _believe_ its a 1970...that's what the tailights said, though the owners manual was not inside and the counterperson didn't know. I have the fellow's number if ANYONE is interested...its in the Baltimore, MD area about 1 mile south of 695 and 2 miles north of 195 on rt 1 Alternate. Email ME if you are interested...i don't know when the car goes to the crusher but the 440 is still in it (the hood is gone, wasted). So hurry. ;) ===== --Mike Pittinaro 'Tis Christmas again Have a happy holiday Imperially __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send FREE video emails in Yahoo!
