Interesting how you negatively describe the fins of another well known
marque. It reminded me of descriptions in one of my books of the fins on
the early '60s Imperials. The author clearly hated fins in general and
those on the Imperials in particular and similarly described them as "bad taste"
even going so far as to say the 1961 fin was reminiscent of
a sopository.
I
suppose you could say "to each their own". Fins might be one of those love
'em or hate 'em things.
