Get a battery and end your worries. If I am going to let a car sit for long periods, and then it needs a battery, I go to Advance Auto Parts and get a "used" battery, which is actually only a return--not defective. they only have a 90 day warranty, but they also only cost $25.00--and it could be their best battery or their cheapest., They just remove the labels.
If you are going to let a car sit without a battery "tender", the battery will go bad anyway.
