Valve cover stickers
I've been saying for
years that the valve cover decals are not correct on the site for 1961. The
ones displayed on the site for 1961 were actually alternate ones used on 1959.
Both the oval and rectangle ones came on the 1959. I have seen, and have
photos, of many 59's with this decal (rectangular with gold letters).
Mine came with the rectangular originally.
Also, those are indeed the standard valve
cover labels for both 60 & 61. You'll find this very design on the
club site in 1960 page at
In one of the rare
whoopsies on our MAGNIFICENT club website; another design is shown for 1961;
although the factory photos for 61 show this same oval
design.
