Oh, I didn't realize there was another, original post about the alternator. Yes, if everything else has been changed, that doesn't leave much else, but I would still want to do the basic tests in case there's some wiring fault. The original electro-mechanical regulators have contact points which eventually will fail, although it takes a long time. I have had plenty of regulator failures but that may have just been my bad luck.
