IML: Rod Run to the End of the World and Slow Drag

Hey Gang ~

The Rod Run to the End of the World is coming up soon! It is September 8 and 
9 on the Long Beach Peninsula in Southwest Washington State, USA, (the 
corner of the Pacific Ocean and the Columbia River). While this is mainly a 
muscle event, it's always nice to see the luxury cars, too.

The Slow Drag event will be held the night before, on Friday, September 7 at 
the Port of Ilwaco. This is a fun event to show off your car and your 
personality. A couple of years ago, a 1961 or 1962 Saratoga from the Seattle 
area came in second. Our restaurant is at the Port of Ilwaco and 
preferential parking will be given to any Imperial (required content).

And, if you really want to make a weekend of it, there will be a mini-car 
show at the Port on Thursday night, September 6 in conjunction with an 
Artwalk.

Last year Eric from Portland graced us with his presence and his car. We'd 
love to meet any other Northwest Imperialist!
