Information on the tilt wheel in 1964-on Imperials is very scarce in the shop manuals. That is probably because it is a GM component, right down to the steering wheel which substitutes the Imperial eagle for the Cadillac wreath & crest. On Ebay right now is a GM manual that is dedicated completely to the mysteries and intricacies of the tilt wheel, hopefully including adjustment procedures for when turn signals get out of whack. Pretty cheap - those who have tilt wheels in their 64-69 Imperials might want one of these.
