Just butting in,

The carshow and auction was at the Roaring 20's Car Club on the end of Grand avenue.  I am a member of the club.  Several cities in Montana block  the main drag for car shows  the biggest is at West Yellowstone the first week in August.  Followed by Great Fall on Mothers Day.  Kalispal has the Going to the Sun Meet in July, and Missoula has the Rock and Roll days in August.  this is just a few show in our state.  We have too many to repeat all of them are good.  You will see some of the best cars in the western region at these show.  Many compete in major shows throughout the West.  So check it out by going to Montana Carshow on the web.  You will be amazed at what you find.

Our State Fall Tour in Bozeman is August 10-12.  The City of Bozeman also traditionally has a car show where they block off mainstreet for it?but I have not been able to find out more about it yet.

 

Do you think there are enough Mopar people in the State of Montana to form a group or club?  Maybe there is already one and I am just out of the loop.  Both my husband (David) and I are car fans but he is much more laid-back than me. I am more the activist?having been fascinated with cars all my life and that is a VERY long time. Our first new family car when I was growing up was a ?40 Chevrolet so that gives a bit of an idea of my vintage!!  The not-so-little old lady!

 

We are traveling to Choteau and Great Falls this weekend for the Spring Tour of the State Pioneer Auto Club but I really don?t expect to see any Imperials there.

Rick,

 Just a quick hello from Montana. I believe the car show that Pat spoke of has already happened. But sometime around the middle end of August - Billings puts on "the burn the point" car show. It is a weekend of dances shows and cruising. Have your brother contact the Billings chamber of commerce for exact dates. Incidentally, for your info. - Dillon is at the other end of the state. But - I am positive when you fly into see your brother - you land in Billings. Give me a call on your next trip. Will be glad to feed and offer any assistance you may need.
