Nice to hear from you. I knew of you but had never been successful contacting you somehow?

I am a native of Bozeman and have a ’62 Crown Southampton 4-door…white with green interior. We obtained this car in 1993 from eastern Washington and drove it quite a while until it heated and wouldn’t start again. After about ten years sitting we have it running once more, but the clutch fan is out and it is running very poorly. After it comes out of the paint shop where it is now…about Aug 1, hubby is going to attempt to rectify some of the problems with a quick fix for now.

Our local Bozeman Antique Auto Club is hosting the State Pioneer Auto Club’s Fall Tour August 10-12, so I MUST have my car there even if we almost have to push it! It won’t be a point car but at least I will finally have fun with it. Are you a member of the State Club? If not, you should be…you can join Billings’ Goggle and Duster’s Club so that you bring at least one more Mopar to our show. Let me know if you want more info on this.

I thought there were at least a few other Mopar people on the Imperial list who are from Montana. Do you know? The registry shows a Roger Crabtree from Billings, Cord Scott, Kalispell and Ted Naut (no city listed). Neither you nor I are on that list so maybe we should register…do you suppose? Do you know these any of these other people? I personally do not know ANYONE who currently drives ‘50- ’60 Imperials, but I don’t travel many of the shows either. I know Neil Freman of Whitehall has two convertibles but I don’t know if they run or not. There is also a fellow in East Helena who has some neat late ‘50s Imps in various stages of repair.

Just a quick note to ask where you are in "The Big Sky" country? I have been a member of the IML for 5 years. I reside in Billings - and have a 4 door 64 Crown. Is your 62 Beige with a Buckskin colored interior? There was one running around Billings several years ago? If you are close or ever in town just let me know?
