Hi Dave,That was my pleasure to do the hinge write up. To see that door hang open all on it's own after what I'm sure was years of it being broken was well worth the 3.5 hours it took to do.
About the rear a/c in Crown Coupes, the only one I recall seeing was the one featured in the 1965 brochure. The natural presumption is that the rear seats in coupes were less used by the nature of 2 door vs 4 door cars. Infact, come to think of it, every dual a/c car I've seen seems to be have been a 4 door. So no, mine only has front a/c. Any chance you'd post a detailed rear a/c pictorial of your car for the 1964 page? That would be good to have on the website.
