IML: 1960-1966 Interior Door Handles

One other note on the subject. A good clue to tell if the roll pin has
worked it's way out is if the interior door handle sits at an angle not
square with the door panel, or if it's a little ahead or back of sitting
level. Handles of this nature usually have a roll pin 1/2 out and I'm making
special note of this because it is in this condition that the unaware will
yank hard on the handle breaking it.

Jim, I may have an answer for you. First, some time back I wrote the =
last entry listed in the repair section for door handles on our website, =
http://www.imperialclub.org/Repair/Body/handles.htm=20
When you say that the back doors won't open and that you don't want to =
damage the trim panels, I'm taking it that it is the interior handle =
that is failing to open the door. This fix is for that type of scenario.
