We seem to agree on the '62 having a blueish green/turquoise engine color
but seem to disagree on valve cover stickers or not. I've still got fond
memories of working on the engine of my father's '62 Crown and there were no
decals on the engine anywhere including the air breather. Are we saying some
from the factory had decals and others did not?

1962 engines were painted blue (blue-ish green) with black air filter
and accessories. There seemingly weren't any decals on the valve
covers, although some have applied the '65 style and they look good.
