The drum will come off.If you are breaking tools, then you probably don't have the heaviest heavy duty puller. Even with the strongest tool, this is a challenging job. They were never meant to come off easily. Be sure that you don't lose your patience. Mushroomed axle ends, and fender damage from hammer hitting are signs of impatient work.
USE THE AXLE NUT AS A SAFETY! The drum can pop off and injure or kill you.
I have seven cars built this way making up a total of 14 drums that I have removed, some more then once or even twice. Keep trying. It will come off.

Ive try banging on it while useing a impact wrench . Ive got the best puller money can buy what is left to do. What in heck is keeping this drum on . I am at the end of my wits. I am either going to sell the car that I have restored for the past 20 years or check myself into a mental hospital any final advise on this ??
