I don't know what diesel is doing, but presume similar inflation, which affects costs. Was $1.50 and is now about $3.25, so over-the-road costs have increased significantly. Shipping in a container across an ocean is a comparative deal where there are 4+ cars to divide the cost or where the container can also move via rail or truck significantly lowers costs.
