It sounds like they didn't replace the external seals. Pat Blaze sells
the complete external seal kit for about $65.00. When the fluid seeps
back into the case from the torque convertoer, the level in the case
raises the where the dried out seal/seals are. This is common for
Torqueflites and I've been through it a dozen times on as many cars.
They can leak 4 or 5 quarts in a couple of weeks. Be careful not to
overfill the transmission.

car on the garage floor. I need to move it so need to put fluid in
