I am now very close to finishing my 1929 Imperial L*80 Convertible Coupe by
Locke. ( Look at the photos on the 1929 page)
When I bought the car I was missing just about every thing which was shiny,
stolen many years ago when the car lay in a field, gradually I have collected
many of them, however I still need the following urgently as I want to get the
car on the road as early in 2007 as possible.
So if anyone can suggest anyone, anywhere in the world! who might be able
to help me please can you let me have some contact details.
I am still looking for a few parts, really just the cosmetics.
4 x Hub caps for wooden artillery wheels
3 x gas/fuel filler caps
Correct Steering wheel and central sterring wheel boss with control
levers.
fuel guage ( black face with gold lettering the same as a Chrysler
75)
Electric Clock
rear bumper joining peice (the part which joins the bumper blades towards
the middle of the car, a diagonal casting) my car has a rear mounted spare
wheel. I have one but from memory cannot remember which one.
Imperial Badge for the rear valance
handle for driver seat adjusting mechanism
2 x window winder handles
2 x escutcheons for the same.
Radiator Cap (original wingless variety)
Original carburettor- Stromberg OX4 (I think)
I am sure I will find a few other things I am missing before I
finish!
