Re: IML: Battery Charger Question

I have not personally done this, but it should be easy.
Parallel means you connect the positive terminal of the charger to the positive terminal of each battery and the negative terminal of the charger to the negative terminal of each battery. I am sure that you could use very low amperage wire like 18 gage or thinner.
I would suggest soldering an alligator clip to the wire for the connection to each batter terminal. The clip will have to be big enough to attach to the battery terminal, but this should give a good connection to the battery which is what I would be most worried about with this type of set up.

Hi Everyone,
I just bought a BatteryMINDer battery charger that charges and desulphates auto batteries, it says I can keep up to four Imperial-type batteries (parallel connected) charged through the cold winter months from a 110v power source.
My question is: Do any of you have any experience wiring these automotive batteries in parallel??
Is there an easy way to cable or wire these batteries together??
What size wire should I use??
Can I just use copper house wire, twisty-tied from battery terminal to battery terminal???

Any feedback is much appreciated.

We'll be interested to see how this works out. I wonder why the right side is more expensive.  Any ideas?

Maybe there are less right side cores available.
