Jim! You said it all Brother! I grew with all B-bodies. My Dad loved Chargers and I learned to drive on a '72 318 rust bucket. When visiting my Grandparents they would often let me drive their '70 Fury (440). That's when I acquired my taste for the C and Y body Mopars. When I got my first car at age 17 I got a '73 Imperial True Blue. Mom and Dad thought I was crazy. Well now I have another '73 Imperial, this one is finished in Blue Sky with a white top. Wherever I drive it, people always stop and look. Some even lean inside the car to take a look! And yes, the first question is always what year Cadillac is this? When I bought the car in Florida I drove it back to my home here in Northern Virginia. All along I-95 some people I passed would honk and give me the thumbs up! Don't get me wrong, I also have a soft spot in my heart for the B-bodies. I think all of these cars represent an era in American motoring that we, unfortunately, will never again experience. This is why I think it so important to preserve all cars from the '50's,'60's and '70's. As my 5 year old son would say, "Daddy, can we take the big blue car?"
