The 90 IMP has 2 brands of ABS. Bendix and Bosch. The Bendix booster pumps are under a life time recall. The brake system is not a vacuum system. It has electric pumps. I know the parts are available for the Bendix system, I not sure about the Bosch. On the site the ABS brakes have been changed out for Vacuum brakes here is a link to the Bosch http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/1990/danieltopping/90Imperial8.jpg and the Bendix system http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/1993/laurent/32.jpg -- Alan Jordan 90 IMP 75 LeBaron 75 LeBaron Crown Coupe -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: <jtpoltrock@xxxxxxx> > Hi all- > > I am currently in negotiations regarding the purchase of a 1990 Imperial with > 55k miles.
