Sooner
or later, I'm going to need a water valve / heater control valve. It's an
AutoTemp I unit.I checked with NAPA yesterday, and we had no joy going
through the books - does anybody know which, if any, of our vendors carries
this item, or where else I could find one? NAPA probably has one,
but they just don't know it. They are more likely to have the "standard"
AirTemp valve, which would work the same, but you would need to remove the
cold temperature lockout switch from your old unit and install it on the new
one. I believe this can be done relatively easily.
These valves
also show up on eBay pretty regularly.
Good
luck!
