Ohio to Iowa and now have a place to work on the car. I am ready to
get it back on the road, but have little experience beyond tune ups
brakes and other minor things. I bought the car on ebay. It had a
cracked block (external coolant leak) but ran quite well...for a
while anyways. Something happened and now it runs very poorly. A
trusted mechanic was hoping that the problem was just with the carb,
but changed his mind after seeing the car. He recommended a rebuild.
And so she sat for a year.
