Just picking up on a thread I caught recently on the IML - I think it was Joy - expressing concern that she'll never have the car she wants. Answer: you will if you're patient enough. I own two cars, a 1968 Imp convert and a 1960 NYer coupe. Both cars came from Kally Forn Ya, and I bought both based on pictures and a third party inspection. I got beat on the NYer but got lucky with the Imp, so I guess I'm even. Don't be overanxious, don't jump and don't settle. The car you want will always be out there, you just need to find it. Make sure you check out all the details and buy the most fully restored, fully functional vehicle you can find and afford, because the devil's in the details. Unless you have the talent and time to do a lot of the work yourself, (which includes tracking down the parts) you're going to spend beacoup bux hiring someone to do the work for you - assuming you can find someone reliable. Good luck. Tom ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com ----------------- This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
