So Brad, What tips can you suggest to those of us with this tranny that we can do regularly to ensure proper service and maintenance? Do we just need to have fluid changed with some regularity or is theere more to it? ( I ask 'cause I have a 90 in the family that we intend to keep for many years.

  Thanks, MAtt

They have A604 trannies. That is the only tranny that mates to the 3.3/3.8.
The A604 is a good tranny if serviced and maintained properly. The biggest
problem with them is that they are a very early electronically controlled
tranny and very few people understand the proper service and maintenance
they require.

Anyone know if the '90-'93 Imperials have the "troublesome" A604
automatic OD transaxle??? If so, are they upgradable???
