Re: IML: Old Gas Removal

Hi All!
I'm not sure about the rest of the country but here in
Calif the gas has additives for smog reasons (it
does'nt even smell like gasoline anymore). This could
be what caused my problem.

A couple of years ago I added a gallon of old gas to
the fresh gas in my '63 Dart thinking it would cause
no harm. It ran fine until I hit the freeway. I ended
up with stuck valves and two bent pushrods.

I always drain the gas from my Imps if I don't plan to
run them for more than a month. Old gas scares me!
