Try your local dealer - they may still stock the Chrysler color in rattle
cans for the engine. If not, try your local auto parts places. That will
be MUCH cheaper than Eastwood or Year One, both of whom stock it. I believe
I found it at NAPA, but I've been mixing and spraying my own the last few
years so that might have been about 5 years ago.
If you don't have a spray gun, and you want it to look really nice, that is
your only choice.
If you do have a spray gun, take a part that still shows the correct color
(something that has been protected from grease and heat) into your local
Home Depot and have them tint up some Rust-Oleum gloss enamel to match.
I've found that so called "engine paint" is no better and no worse than
Rust-Oleum gloss enamel in its ability to stand up to engine conditions, and
it is VERY good quality paint, which flows out nicely and sprays
beautifully, when cut with paint thinner to spray consistency.

Subject: Re: IML: engine paint
I was going to order a can of engine spray paint for my '66 Imperial. Before
I buy the paint from EASTWOOD, does anyone know of another source for engine
paints?
Thanks,
Dan
