Hi Chris...well, I thought I had the 'leaky hose' all fixed after using the wire brush attachment on my cordless drill to clean up the in-port for the lower radiator hose. but! after running the car around the block for about 5 minutes or so, its started leaking again! &^%$#@#$$##!!!.......now it looks like the fluid is coming from ABOVE where the hose slides on to the in-port on the motor. I have been picking Dick Benjamin's brain also to see what else it could be but he also says MAYBE ??? its the water pump since it was drained several times over the days I have been working on this. I was wondering, if you remember having the water pump replaced when you did all the initial 'replacing' of stuff on the car? or maybe later on!? I think you said you had the radiator changed a bit back (with one that was not an 'exact' fit but worked fine) since if I have to pull the radiator out and change the water pump I may as well have the radaiator at least cleaned out and pressure tested at the same time.....Damn! I really was hoping it was only that there was a buildup on the inlet part where the hose slides on! I will look at it again tomorrow but its in (naturally!!) the hardest place to actually SEE into!!! in back of the upper part of the lower hose! Anyway, I may have screwed up the water pump myself by lettng it dry out as I did when I drained the water out to change the hoses ....several times! I was really hoping to take the LeBAron to the Southern CAlifornia Imperial Club picnic down at the Laguna Nigrel Park but this will change things. Anyway, if you can remember anything about the water pump let me know. Thanks again!!!!
