IML: Chrome Cleaning

Hi all -
My '66 had pitted and green interior chrome that was transformed by using
"Nevr-Dull", the wadding available in most hardware stores. Easy to use
and seems to leave a nice oily film.

If you can get the chrome cleaned up again, be sure to polish it with a
high quality wax. That might help prevent the moisture in the air from
attacking the plating. I think this is particularly true of items that
have been rechromed since they may not be as "heavy duty" as what was on
the original. It also might be a good idea to wipe it down every time that
you wash the exterior of car. This will keep it looking clean, and call
your attention to anything that is starting to happen before it becomes a
serious problem
