Hola Dan If a H.S. know it all was hearing this question they may say, " ... the colours for any 1955 MoPar is the same as a 1954 or a 1956...". This same person a few years later may say to just check the records on this site and a few others as this question is a regular one. To cut the hassle and let you to go shopping the easiest way is to ask for any rattle can Chrysler Engine Alum/chrome that is out on the car section paint shelf at NAPA, auto Zone, Pep Boyz and the likes. Go to a cheap dollar store and get two rolls of alum foil. Remove the Generator and the oil bath air cleaner and pulleys that may be in the way. Clean everything on the engine very good. Then come back tomorrow and clean again what you missed. You may find that you need to do this again next Saturay too. Cover all that you do not want painted this alum/silver colour with the alum foil. Shake and then re-shake the rattle cans. When this is finished spray all parts in sight. For the pulleys, long generator arm, fan blades, generator/power steering pump and etc, paint them a flat black or flat satin black. You may find that Imperial painted some parts of this sort a couple of differant shades of black. You can do this if your car is pulled on to the trailer to get to a car show. You may find that a bag or two of # 0000 extra fine steel wool is great to have. There is more to this, but this will get you started to pure labour.
