Evin,
    The 92 Imp dash is very much like the Dash in the 90 5th that
I had.  Check the plastic super structure for broken or missing
screw points.  This also happened to my 5th and I was able to
repair it a proper plastic cement and some square section froma
pvc pipe and a couple of drill holes.  The alternative was to
replace the entire dash superstructure.  Also, adding / replace
velcro strips helpped a lot too.
