IML: Steering Column

Hello All!

I recently acquired a 1973 Imperial similar to the
first car I owned as a teenager. 

In looking the car over I noticed the steering column
when sitting in the drivers seat appears to be angled
toward the left. Is this normal? I can't remember if
my first Imperial was like this or not.
