Those on the list with a 1960 could respond with 100% certainty but I can tell you the only "park" on our 1961 Crown transmission is the "neutral" button with the parking brake engaged.
 
I was fortunate to find a shop (Eagle Transmission, here in Dallas) run by a guy who owns a couple of collector cars (not one Imperial though) and not only did he understand that there was no "park," he was able to source some of the harder to find parts that were needed for the complete rebuild.
 
Reverse was the only gear our car didn't go in when we got her almost two years ago now.
 
Since this repair won't be cheap, my suggestion is to find another shop.
