Re: IML: Fwd: 68 convertable Hydraulic cylinders

We've had a lot of IML talk on this subject, and often the Hydro-E-Lectric company out of Punta Gorda, Fl. is mentioned.  I've kept all of their contact info, and everyone I ask highly recommends them.  My '69 OTHER-THAN-IMPERIAL convertible went into the shop today for some brake work and other mild PM.  One of the things I'm having the shop take care of is to drain and re-fill the pump for the top.  If that doesn't fix the sluggish performance of the top (drops fine, but needs me pushing to close it again) my first call will be to Hydro.  They sell pumps starting at $220.00.  They used to sell rebuild kits too, and I hope they still do!  The number is 800-343-4261.  The website is http://www.hydroe.com/.  If you have the July edition of Hemmings Classic Car magazine, the Hydro ad is on page 99.

BTW, the July Classic Car issue is dedicated to identifying cheap, good value convertibles for under $10,000.  The only MOPAR offering is the mid 90s LeBaron!  No Imperials to be seen.

Hi List,

Where can I find info on getting the leak fixed on my
hydraulic cylinder for my conv top? I could not find
anything on the OIC about it.

Thanks Luis
