HI Bill I had an after market air conditioner in my '66 Crown. It was
terrible took up half the floor spacein the front. I found a '65 and took
all the stuff and put it in my car. I got the proper switches from Bob
Hoffmiester. Yes air was an option.

Our '64 Crown 4DHT came with dual A/C units.
Have a '66 Crown 4DHT with no A/C at all, seems strange.
