Excuse me if this has already come up, but one good rule of mailing list etiquette is to use a descriptive subject line in your post, so that we can all tell whether we need to open the message. For example, "64 transmission selector" is more useful than "Help needed, 64 Crown". Most folks on the list are already pretty good about doing this, thus I can easily screen out half of the incoming messages, and I don't mind doing so. --- bob smith <imperialcrazy68@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > that is something i have a problem with also. it is > fustrating to see so many emails that do not apply > to > me or are not what i am looking for!!! > > --- jesse barboza <shuntmaster2@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > i was thinking that maybe do to the vast varety of > > years in the mailing list i was thinking that it > > might be more effective to have individual groups. > > like 1950-1959 and 1960-to1969 ect. and having > > seperate mailing list for each decade not to > exclude > > anyone but just to make things a bit more uniform > i > > mean personaly i find it a bit troubling having to > > sort through a couple hundred emails only to find > 8 > > or 10 that actually apply to my year get reply if > u > > agree or hav any comments > > > > > __________________________________________________ > > Do You Yahoo!? > > Tired of spam?
