Re: IML: To custom or not to custom?

Guess I'm mellowing out in my old age.
There was a time when I would have been horrifed
to see anything but stock. Now I take consolation in the fact
that the Customizers are serious people who, at the very least,
are saving our cars for posterity and possibly these cars
can someday be returned to their original style(s).

I know I'm a little late jumping in on this, but I think we should be
careful about judging others taste as tacky. Remember, we are the people
driving the cars with tailfins, square steering wheels, gun-sight
taillights, free-standing headlamps, "toilet-seat" flightsweep decklids,
bustle backs and fuzzy carpeting. Plenty of people find our taste "tacky."
Be an individual, just think long and hard about any changes that can't be
returned to stock.
