In comparing KYB's offering to what I had in my car,
the KYB unit came up seriously lacking.  Smaller and
of lighter construction.  Weighed less and just didn't
feel right to me when I compared the two.

Suggest that you try Monroe or another brand.

KYB also stakes their claim to "improved ride" by
stiffening the shock characteristics over stock
something like 30%.  Can't remember if that was given
verbally when I called or is on their website, but I
skipped them.

These cylinders are significantly thicker in diameter
than the KYB units.  I'd get something like that
instead.
