Welcome to our little group of Imperial nuts. I also have a 47 Packard with
the same magnificent 9 main bearing engine as yours, and yes, the fan belt
is a monster and hard to find.   I have a used spare belt that you are
welcome to, please contact me directly at dickb@xxxxxxxxx and include your
address - I'll pack it up and get it off to you.

Self-Introduction: I am a 16 year old who has been interested in old cars 
since I can remember. I currently have a 1947 Packard Super Clipper 
(currently in need of a fan belt that is larger than any I have yet come 
across...) that I tool around in from time to time but am truly in need of a

daily driver- an Imperial daily driver. I was introduced to Packard and 
Imperial automobiles by Donald Taccone, if any of y'all know him, and have 
come to lust after the lines of the 64 through 66 Imperials. I can't say 
that my family has ever owned an Imperial (they were generally Lincoln or 
Cadillac people back when they had resources to be), but I wish to be the 
first to do so. Thank you so very much.
