Title: Re: IML: New Die Cast Offering -1961
Imperial
Ah, Chris (et al): I know this model well! It was
made FROM my convertible (measures and details). I even got to
write the insert blurb! I've been waiting for the release and
just got the prototype last week. It's gorgeous and it even
includes a unique detail that subtly marks it as taken from
specifically my car! I will be driving this beauty (the
full-size one) coast-to-coast this summer in the Great Race - I wanted
to be able to give these models to my hosts along the way! It
will be available in two colors: white (like mine, with burgundy
leather inside and a black top; and burgundy outside (I don't know
interior or top yet). It comes with top-up and parade boot:
everything open, wheels steer, windows go up and down. If you
want to see a clue, see:
http://www.diecastdirect.com/asp_modules/add_item.asp?ProductCode=YM20138WH.
It's the actual car, as photo'd by Yat Ming,, but the match is
remarkable.
Enjoy!

Hello
Folks
Yat Ming
has introduced a new 1/18 scale die cast model of the 1961 Crown
Convertible. I have no pictures yet, but as soon as I do, I will post
them in the models page.
