Jesse;With regard to the engine, when the previous owner removed it did he leave anything behind accessory wise like the generator/power steering pump unit and radiator? Is the steering column and box still there. The reason I ask is that it is easier to find the 331 engine without the generator/P.S pump then with, it's also nice to have the original radiator.The first thing that I would do is contact the previous owner about the engine, if he has had it for two years and hasn't done anything with it he probably never will. Tell him to keep you in mind if he decides to part with it. Another option would be to locate a junked 54' New Yorker, that is fairly complete mechanically, as a donor. There may also be someone else, who like the previous owner, pulled a 331 for a possible future project that may want to sell. One more idea may be to find a poly engine from a Chrysler Windsor, while not correct for an Imperial at least it will bolt in and mate up to the transmission as it used the same block.You say that the chrome on the driver's side rear door is damaged, do you know which piece? The rear door should have two stainless pieces, one is a stone guard that is attached to the front bottom of the "dog leg" or bump at the rear of the door. The other is a 10" section of a two piece stainless moulding that runs between the top end of the stone guard and the taillight bezel.
