I don't know that carburettor technology actually *has* improved since then. They only lasted another 15 years or so after that in production cars, and most of those carbs were designed for things I think are pretty goofy, like light weight, or lower emissions, or something. Edelbrock's still making brand new AVSes, only slightly modified, and people pay pretty good money for them. > What is the CFM rating for the original Carter AVS for a 1969 LeBaron?
