Re: IML: was brake booster/ now brake sys rebuild.(long winded)

Hi,

while home on leave, I decided to round up the parts to rebiuld the brakes on my 67 vert, found the hoses , wheel clylinders at carquest in stock! would you belive, they ordered a master clylinder and brake booster from california( it was not scheduled to come in until after i left the country. the part that gave me the most trouble was the front calipers(which in the past were readialy available and came loaded with pads) not a single auto parts store could get them. fpond them on the net at rock auto, they came unloaded. i have not been able to find pads anyplace, i even called up the tech line at a1 cardone and they claimed they had and had no record of ever having the pads to go with the calipers( I have bought two sets of calipers from them in the past with pads)Have emailed some sources on webb that make brakes for racr car to see if they will reline for me.Since I am changing all wil be converting to dot 5 like i did on the lebaroon.(worked well)

Any experience (good or bad) with a Power Brake Booster re-builder?

Mine is definitely shot and I have had NO LUCK finding a new or rebuilt one.  So, I have to send mine off to be re-built.
