I have a single post lift out of an old gas station.  If I were to do it
over again, I'd get a 4 poster that lifts the car by the wheels. The 2
posters lift the frame and are nice for working under it, but I don't
really like the wheels hanging down.  You can't do spring work with the
wheels hanging free.  It is entirely possible to simply jack up a wheel
after you lift the car to a mice working height on a 4 poster.
