Contact the Chrysler Historical Society at the Museum in Auburn Hills, MI.
For $45 or so, just with the VIN # they will give you details on your
specific car. You also are asked to send a rubbing of the serial number
plate and a copy of your title and registration. You get a microfilm photo
of the build card and an explanation by digit of each number of the serial
number. You'll learn the region # and the city corresponding to that
region, the dealer code and the dealer's name, body type, color, trim code,
details of options .
Call the museum in Auburn Hills, MI. They'll send you a form. If you want,
I can scan an extra form I have and e-mail you a copy or I can fax one to yu
if you have access to a fax.
